Winnipeg welcomes back international tennis players

Back for a second year, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Circuit makes a stop in Winnipeg for the Canadian Mid-West ITF U18 2011 being held this week at the Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club. The tournament main draw matches start Tuesday, July 19th with finals taking place on Saturday, July 23rd and are open to the public at no admission fee.

Elite tennis players gather for Manitoba Open

Manitoba’s best tennis players will be joined by some top Canadian juniors at this week’s Manitoba Open at the Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club. The field includes high-ranking juniors from Alberta and Ontario who are in town this week to compete in the Canadian Mid-West ITF U 18 tournament. Main draw matches in the Manitoba Open run from Thursday, July 21 to Sunday, July 24.

Tennis fans are encouraged to come to the Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club to watch the high-caliber competition. There is no admission fee for spectators. Shaw TV will provide coverage of the Open finals on Sunday, July 24
