Posted by Bill R. on 2010-07-18 14:38:02 PDT July 18, 2010 Winnipeg Hosts First International Tennis Federation U18 Event For the first time since the Pan Am Games, Winnipeg will host an International Tennis Federation (ITF) sanctioned event this time for players under 18 years old. The Canadian Mid West ITF U18 Tournament will run from July 18-24 at the Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club. The tournament is free and open to the public daily for a chance to watch bright young talent from all over the world.

Posted by Bill R. on 2010-06-09 11:23:51 PDT On June 5th, 2010, WLTC held our first Tie Break Tourney fundraiser in support of the Winnipeg Humane Society. Thank you to the 22 players and the many fans who supported this first time event. Due to the positive comments from the fans and the players, it is our intention to make this an annual event. We are pleased that we will be making a substantial donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Manager of Winnipeg Lawn Tennis Club, thank you very much.
